Fashion plays an important part in everyone’s life. It helps us by minimizing our flaws. You can use fashion to express yourself and it also speaks about your personality. For some, it is a very important part of life, it’s like a religion. But for others, it can be just a method of dressing.

The way that you look and dress leaves the first impression. So, you need to be dressed in a way that compliments you the most. We always need to be presentable.

For example: - The way that you dress up for a job interview, to a great extent helps you get through the interview. That is, even if you are knowledgeable and dress like a slob, u might end up being rejected. Fashion by the means of clothing helps you in minimizing your drawbacks, giving you an image of professionalism.

Personal style is another great way of expressing yourself. Clothes which are too tight or loose leave a bad impression and are also uncomfortable to the wearer. One should always go for clothes as per his/her own comfort both physical and psychological. When you are able to carry the outfit gracefully, you yourself will feel the confidence within you. Hairstyles, accessories and makeup are also essential parts of fashion as well as your appearance.

  • Red Color signifies Warning, Energy & Cheerfulness and
  • White Color signifies Peace, Purity & Cleanliness.

Style and fashion in today's society is very important. So, always make sure that you look your best. Fashion is available for everyone within their own comfort zone & convenience.

FASHION VS ART

-by Maleeka Kashyap

“Fashion” is an inspired art form. At the same time, the very purpose of fashion is functionality. These are not rigid guidelines towards creating, yet they sort of harmonize with each other. We cannot label fashion as absolute. Individualistic tastes differ, circumstances differ, social values differ. Yet, at the best of times, the very foundation of fashion is its appeal. A rebellious “emo” Harajuku Gothic Lolita’s fashion sense would differ from a svelte and sophisticated New Yorker, but it is the eye of the beholder that will reject or accept a fashion. So where exactly does the demarcation lie between fashion and art? To put it in simple words, a creation of art does not necessarily need to serve a function – The function of wearability, the function of comfort or the function of adhering to societal needs.

Over the years, we have seen some marvelous works of art in the fashion field. Drawing inspirations from architecture to music, the creative genius of a few designers stands apart. Projects such as Skin + Bones: Parallel Practices in Fashion and Architecture dedicate themselves to these wearable art forms. International events are organized where many famous designers participate and display their creative sides by moving one step away from conventions. There is no compulsion to sell, no compulsion to explain, no compulsion to market wearable art. It is just what its name suggests. Below are some such creations, for your viewing pleasure.
