At Mod’art India, the syllabus and course structure has been prepared by Mod’art International Paris. It is suited to provide students with the maximum benefits of a world class education.

The training involves a flexible approach which enables students to adapt to the fast moving and dynamic world of both creative and technical fashion fields.

Mod’art relies on a team of professors with long term experiences in the fashion industry, a team focused on providing students with an constantly updated international format of education.

At Mod’art, we make sure that our students are in constant touch with industry professionals which helps them in gaining hands on experience and exposure. We provide internships in every year of study with some of the top brands and design houses in India.

Students are also expected to learn and explore the areas of fashion in the form of field trips and visits besides class room teaching. This helps in forming an idea of the actual functional fashion business in India.

Teaching Methods & Aids
Team of teachers
The faculty at Mod’art consists of professionals from the world of fashion with long experiences in teaching and working with fashion houses and brands. We also have people from the industry who interact with the students, conduct seminars, conferences and are also the members of the jury for exams, so that the students get an insight straight from the industry.

Mandatory work experiences
Each year students are a part of a compulsory internship program which forms a strong link with the professional fashion world and a progressive initiation into their future career.

Mod’art employs a teaching style that enhances and recognizes the personality of each student individually, preparing them to adapt and influence their style in the fields they chose to work upon in the future.

Every student at Mod’art receives personal attention as we have a low teacher to student ratio of 1:4, which ensures the best standard of quality education.

Our training aims to develop teamwork, as the Fashion industry is perpetually team work oriented. At the same time, we help them develop their individual leadership and business skills. We prepare the students to face their future endeavours in the fashion world.

Changing Students perspective
“What's in Vogue today, may be ridiculed tomorrow”

The students need to be able to constantly update their skills in the fashion world. The ultimate aim of a designer’s work is to be acceptable to others rather than him or her. At Mod’art, we train the students not only to understand the needs of fashion, but also what makes fashion successful and what do people want.

We assign Mentors to each student, who offer permanent supervision and monitoring of that student, in every aspect of the students development. These Mentors are the Masters of their domains, who will provide you with constant guidance and support.

Preparing students for the outside world
We conduct a series of mock interviews with our students, such that they can face their interviews with confidence.

We also assist them in setting up their CV and creating their portfolio.

Internships every year
Internships are the only way that students can keep up with the changing fashion Trends, understand Fashion Trade and find their key interest areas in the Fashion Industry.

At Mod’art, students are a part of a compulsory internship in every year of study.

This hands on exposure to the work culture of the fashion business gives students the actual experience required to be able to function successfully in the industry. A student may chose to work in couture house or opt for the mass retail brands.
